    Air Conditioning Repairs in Bournemouth

Repairs across Bournemouth, Poole and Dorset. All makes, including systems we did not install. Diagnosis first, then a price.

    Faults we see most often

    • Blowing warm air, usually low refrigerant from a slow leak, or a badly fouled coil
    • Water dripping from the indoor unit, almost always a blocked condensate drain
    • System running then cutting out, often a sensor or a fan fault on the outdoor unit
    • Noise and vibration from worn fan bearings or loose brackets
    • Error codes on the controller, which tell us a lot before we even take a cover off
    • Corroded outdoor coils on coastal properties, where salt air has done the damage

    How we work a repair

We diagnose first. That means reading the fault codes, checking pressures and temperatures, and leak testing where refrigerant is low, before anyone talks about parts. Topping a system up without finding the leak is not a repair, it is a delay, and under F-Gas rules a known leak has to be fixed.

Once we know what is wrong you get a price. If a part is obsolete or the repair does not make financial sense against a replacement, we will say so rather than sell you the repair.

    Commercial breakdowns

A failed system in a shop, restaurant or server room is a trading problem, not a comfort problem. We prioritise those calls and can work outside opening hours where access allows.

    Common questions

In Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch we can usually be with you the same week, and often sooner. Ring in the morning and we will tell you straight when we can get to you.

Yes. Most of our repair work is on systems we did not fit, including makes and models we do not normally install.

Not always. It is often a dirty filter, a blocked outdoor coil or a low refrigerant charge caused by a small leak. We diagnose before we quote so you are not paying for guesswork.

Sometimes not, and we will tell you when that is the case. If parts are obsolete or the system uses a phased-out refrigerant, replacement is usually the cheaper route over a few years.

We look at the space, the wall, the outdoor unit position and the electrics, then put a written quote in writing. The price is fixed once you agree it.
